  • Information you provide: Parent/guardian name, email, phone number, address, and emergency contact details
  • Student Profile Data: Child's name, age, school, learning preferences, goals, and any relevant medical or developmental information
  • Assessment Records: Progress reports, portfolio work, and learning assessments
  • Consent-Based Media: Photos and videos captured during sessions only with explicit, documented parental consent
  • Usage data: How you interact with our website and communications

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Enroll your child and manage their participation in our programs
  • Communicate with you about schedules, progress, and academy updates
  • Process payments and maintain billing records
  • Track student progress and provide personalized learning support
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

Use of Data for Minors

We will only collect, use, and disclose the personal data of a child with the express consent of their parent or legal guardian. All communications regarding this policy and academy services are directed to the Parent/Guardian.

4. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Mentors: We share student learning profiles with assigned mentors to facilitate effective instruction. We do NOT share financial information or identity documents with mentors.
  • Service providers: Third parties who assist in operating our academy (e.g., payment processors, communication platforms)
  • Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our students

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law:

  • Student records: Retained for 7 years after the student's last enrollment, in accordance with education record-keeping requirements
  • Financial records: Retained for 5 years as required by IRAS regulations
  • Photos and videos: Retained for 2 years unless consent is withdrawn earlier
  • Inquiry data: Retained for 2 years if enrollment does not proceed

Upon expiry of retention periods, personal data is securely disposed of through deletion (for electronic records) or shredding (for physical documents).

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure data storage, and access controls to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure. We comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

8. Cross-Border Transfers

We may transfer your personal data to service providers located outside Singapore for purposes such as cloud storage, payment processing, and communication services. When we do so, we ensure:

  • The receiving country provides a comparable standard of protection as PDPA
  • Contractual arrangements are in place to protect your data
  • You have provided consent for such transfers where required

How to Exercise Your Rights

Response Time: We will respond to your request within 30 days. If we require additional time, we will inform you within 30 days of the expected timeframe and reasons for delay.

Withdrawal of Consent

If you withdraw consent for essential data processing (e.g., student records, emergency contacts), we may be unable to continue providing our educational services to your child. We will explain the consequences of withdrawal before processing your request.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify enrolled parents/guardians via email.
